Has anyone heard from Tarek? I hope he and his are okay.
Haven't heard a word... hope all is well... Internet was cut in Egypt... so maybe he's just incommunicado... Mike
I was worried too. I have his cell number in Egypt (well back from 2009, i don't think he had changed), will text it.
We have a few members in Egypt Tarek K. - Cairo - last visited site 2 months ago http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/member.php?u=38981 intouch1 - last visited site 9 days ago http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/member.php?u=39141 omarmakki - like Tarek, in Cairo - last visited site 6 months ago http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/member.php?u=39893
Tarek has a BIG boat (as I mentioned in the other thread) but I knew I had not seen any recent posts..... Let us know if you hear back from him... Thoughts and prayers to all.......
When Tarek comes back online, it will be a happy day on Fchat. I've already loaded more Denise Milani photos in the Bikini thread for him.
Jason is right...Tarek is a long-standing valued member of the community. Mob mentality is a dangerous thing... if they can take down the government, then the successful elite minority may well be next. Mike
I just got back from Cairo last night. It was really a mess, and anyone that thinks there's no danger there is wrong. I love the place and the people, but was never so happy leaving a country as when my flight took off (about 30 hours after arriving at the airport and after several cancellations).
Welcome home! As mentioned, the riots once started are not easy to control, unless you use tanks and bullets.
i was looking through some pictures and saw a ferrari enthusiast in tahrir square: http://english.aljazeera.net/mritems/Images/2011/2/2/201122163434330876_8.jpg it's crazy what is going on there. hope tarek is well.
glad to report that until now tarek and i are safe. it is a degrace what is happening here considering that all the violence is orchestrated by the state. hopefully this is over soon and we can go about our daily lives. just spoke to tarek yesterday. he and is family are safe and in no imminent danger.
