I finally did it! After much thought and advice from this forum I traded my Viper for a 1990 Testarossa. Thanks to everyone who responded to my questions. You were all a great help. I found a 1990 with 14,000 miles, all service in excellant shape. I will try to post some pictures that the prior owner sent. It should be delivered by next week.
    Thanks again!

Chris--Welcome to the Ferrari ownership experience. You're only a couple hours away from KC. We have a very active Ferrari-club here in KC and it has a monthly breakfast meet every first Sat. of the month. Love to have you come and join. PM me if you are interested. Congrats again on your purchase.

Really very nice. Did you get that from Steve Harris Imports? (I thought I saw a red TR w/ a black dash on their website a few weeks ago.)

    Beautiful car.
But what are those seatbelts doing all over the place?
I have never understood your american seatbelts. They seem very strange to me.

I think you just purchased one of the beste TR's available, it just looks brand new! Congrats! Red on black TR's are great, especially with the black dash.
I think TR's belong to some of the greatest cars Ferrari has ever produced. Enjoy her!!

Welcome to the TR club!! Excellent choice!! The TR/512TR styling has always been my favorite automotive designs. Can't beat those cheese graters and that wide, sexy ass!

You and I have the same color combos. Put some serious mileage on her and drive her for all she's worth! Always a pleasure to drive, even in heavy traffic! And....oh......that awesome engine+exhaust note when she's revved up!!!
