she's a beauty, out of curiosity, why didn't you opt for the 512TR? Is the cost difference a little too much? From what I hear the 512's reliability is much better than the regular Testarossa. Regardless, that is a looker, i would love to own that, unfortunately, i've never driven cars without power steering, so there's a fear that i might not be able to handle it well enough!

Haha!! You shouldn't worry about this Eddie. The 512TR and Mondial have no power steering, but once you are moving (even at 5mph or so), it's not too bad. It's only when parking the car, then it can become a bit of a workout. But, hey, what's so bad about pumping up the arms while parking a Ferrari! :)

The Redhead will be happier if you average more than 1,000 miles a year on it. Now, get out there...

Wax, I think you left out 1 more zero there. Make that 10,000 miles/year. :) I am working at half the pace on the 512TR. Put about 7K miles since Aug. 02. I think the pace will quicken now that the Porsche 911 cab is gone.

I can attest to Peter's statement abput the 512TR. In fact, it's so responsive to the road traction, I prefer it to power steering....(and I love power steering).
