    I am in search of a technical writer that can put a book together for me on sales. I have the full outline of the book completed. I could put all of each chapter of the book on tape and send it to whoever will help me out. I have about 100 chapter topics. They will be in bullet form, 1-3 pages on each topic.

    The differentiating factor of my book Vs ALL sales books available is the fact that my book will allow the reader / salesperson to polish his or her own style of selling. Most every book on sales that is out today is written by someone who was successful in sales and their book is THE way to do things..I say bull to that! My book will suit everyone from the beginning sales person all the way through the seasoned pro that needs to polish their own style and see things that they do that they could do better!

    If anyone has the ability to help me or knows somebody that can, the following guidelines needs to be met:

    1) The person has the time to complete the book.
    2) The person should have published at least one book or assisted in such.
    3) The person should know the drill as to how to get the book to publishers

    This book I am prepared to embark on this project. The book will be a winner! I am prepared to draft a contract for a 50/50 share in the profits of this project.

    I've used the same editor for my last 4 books but, because she earns her living as an editor, she charges by the hour. There are something like 41,000 new titles published each year in the US with 95% of them never paying the cost of the paper for the first printing. Wouldn't be prudent for her to take a percentage -- there wouldn't be anything for her to pay bills with. Just look at amazon.com and see how many different titles there are.

    i know a few writers (published and unpublished) and editors. none of them would take on a pure contingency job like this. good editors can make GOOD contract/hourly money.
