    I have been in the market for a 1998 or 1999 355 or 360. I have looked at a lot of the ferrari websites and some dealers in Florida that seem to have a bunch. What should I know about these two years and is the F1 option worth it? Any information would help. Also what is ppi?

    I imagine the ppi is done by a certified Ferrari mechanic correct? Also does anyone know of any mid mileage 355's or 360's for sale in the Northeast. I am in New Jersey and most of the cars I have ssen that look nice are at dealerships in Florida or california.

    Some people use an authorized dealer some use an independent. It's best to use someone that has no interest in the deal. Here's the link for Ferrari North America. They will show inventory of dealers across the U.S. Someone once listed links to a lot of the dealers across the U.S. You might try to search for that one. Good Luck.

    The F1 is more problematic, it's fun for some people but not fun for others. 6spd's are harder to find and from what I hear easier to sell especially on the F355. Get what you want, try going to a dealer and trying out both systems. The 360 will also be more of a all costs up front car. You'll pay up front and have a reliable car of the time being. With the F355 you'll run into little problems, not as much with the 99 year, but they're still there. Parts are also typically more expensive for the F355.

    Stay away from certain Florida dealers. The good ones that come to mind are Ferrari Central Florida, Domani Motors, Cavallino Motors (a ferrarichat sponsor btw), Shelton Ferrari, etc. Do your research on them, heard negatives lately about Don L Leasing and Euro Motorsports.

    PPI= Pre-Purchase Inspection

    Also, I allways know of 360's for sale, I just helped a friend find one so if you need any help, just give me a ring or email.

    Take Care,
    Kevin
