That is a serious beauty of a 720S...they are a monster of a car for sure.

I looked at them but being 6'4" I could not fit in one. Knees where in the dash and head rubbing the roof. I fit better in the 488. I fit best in 991 (911) Porsche's.

I don’t think it was appropriate to post that on a celebratory thread. I’ve enjoyed your posts and your knowledge but this was not a congratulatory post from you.

I’m 6’4” and for very comfortably in my 720. Porsche and Ferrari are ok also. Lambo is not made for big guys.

I thought the 720s was pretty decent from memory - what has more headroom 720s or pista?

Both have plenty of room for me. It’s a toss up.

I appreciate you sharing that. I am well aware of the glass issue. No issues with this since the door uppers are full carbon and an expensive option at that. Also I have everything under warranty any all that is covered. My local McLaren dealership has been amazing, there is a tiny stone mark that is in the PPF on the hood and the McLaren dealership is picking up the car, fixing it and dropping it back to me all for free. In reality they have no reason to even entertain doing so.

Having the carbon roof in lieu of glass is ideal. It is possible depending on when your car was built and whether or not the windshield has already been replaced that there could be a crack over time. With my 18' I had no issue with this but with my 20' I did. It was covered under warranty, I think it was a 1-day fix. Enjoy the car, you got a great spec.

Ferrari has more headroom by a few inches.... my head touched the 720 headliner and i'm 3 finger or so width away in my 488... i have big hands and meaty fingers though

Plenty of stock dyno numbers on 720s’. The 720s clocks about 700whp, which is over 800hp to the crank. McLaren clearly understated their power numbers, in fact one of the guys at McLaren himself confirmed that they did not want to alienate P1 owners.

any for the 488 numbers?the 488 pulls harder imo ist and 2ng after 3rd and higher rpm thats when 720 just pulls away both are amazing ,the 488 will hold its value better than the mac and be more reliable imo.the 720 s and the 488 are the best buys out there and for the performance they give you

Not sure how true that is, it seems like it would/could be the case. Check this out:

Plenty of videos and articles out there stating the contrary of this singular video. The 720s is closer to 700hp to the wheels Which is near about 800hp. There are plenty more videos and articles but I shall leave it at this.

Yeah I've seen them all, there are just too many variables to know for sure.
