Am a fan of the DH84 Dragon, the twin version.

They started flying about the same time as the DC-1,2,3... game over. Obsolete when designed.

 

What engines were they going to use had the turboprop Connie been put into production? Thanks!

 

Four of them were built for Navy and AF... a civilian was contemplated by Lockheed...cruised about 100 mph faster than the prop.

Used P&W T-34 t-props... and one with Allison T-56 (Electra had those and the Herc).

In the video, they look like the Allison T-56, like on the Electra.
