im sorry for being such an ******* for making retarted threads and saying the 308 is a poor mans ferrari i belive every ferrari is good. i was just making a joke but im sorry people
Try doing some research on the subject that you are addressing before you speak. Also, it might be best to sit back and observe F/C for a while before you go making judgments. People on this list are quick to forgive if you can show you really care. Add something to the list, not take it away.
Apology accepted. I'm not rich, probably never will be. But I worked pretty darn hard to get where I am and paid cash for my 308 and I give it every attention it requires. I look at the new 360 Spider (a car I lust after) and I realize that I will probably never have one, it is way out of my price range. But then I see people look at my 308 GTS which is a very sexy car and they realise that they will probably never have one either. It is, for one reason or another, out of their price range; a luxury they can't afford. I don't put them down because they are driving a Ford Escort or a Minivan. You know what I do - I pop the hood and show them the engine. I tell them about the car. I let them take their son's picture with the car. I'll let them sit in it and talk with them. They don't walk away and think that I'm just some rich snob with a Ferrari. They walk away thinking that I'm a real nice guy who is passionate about the Ferrari marque and is willing to share. Money can't buy the feeling I get when I've made some kids day by letting him sit in a real Ferrari. That makes me feel rich. I'm glad you posted an open apology. It was a real stand-up thing to do.
That's noble of you to apologize... A 308 "IS" a poor man's Ferrari, however, doesn't mean the owner is poor.. A Honda Civic "IS" a cheap car, doesn't mean they suck, in fact, they are very well designed for their purpose and what the engineers set out to achieve.. What do you do in Arlington?? I go to Grad school in Williamsburg...
