Chuck gets his watched snatched off his wrist . . . ....
Two thoughts on this: 1/ sorry for Charles if he was attached to the watch and probably feeling violated. 2/ how the he__ can a watch be worth more than a Ferrari road car?!
The same thing happened to me in the middle of the day walking around Naples. Fortunately, my watch was not worth 10% of his... Kevin
Sorry! Should have been more clear. My wife and I were walking back from lunch in Naples, ITALY!! Scooped it right off my wrist, and clearly was a pro. In retrospect, I was relieved that he just took the watch and didn't assault me unexpectedly before taking it. It was an interesting experience. There was a local there who came upon us shortly thereafter and was PISSED. He flagged down the police to try to help us. My wife and I got an hour ride around Naples in the back of a police car as they dragged out numerous suspects for us to try to identify. Unfortunately, neither of us got a good enough look to be sure. Watch was a Hublot Big Bang. I shortly thereafter moved on to an A Lange & Sohne Flyback Chronograph, which I LOVE! So a happy ending, I GUESS??? Kevin
So many questions but my first might be an unexpected one...why are ppl referring to Leclerc as Chuck? Feels almost derogatory...
Jules Bianchi a few months before his life ending Suzuka accident was mugged avenue George's V in Paris, they took an expensive watch from him. Lando Norris was quite shaken by his watch mugging.
I can think of classier and more interesting watches that cost a lot less. Chuck is showing his "youth."
It's not meant to be derogatory. In the US, a common and affectionate nickname for people named Charles is "Chuck". Chuck Berry, Chuck Norris, Chuck Yeager just to name a few.
Another watch hijacking? First Lando, now Chuck...and both are at "home". Chuck should be treated like a god in Italy.
Back to Imola . . . . Thursday and Friday predictions still say 90% chance of rain. Saturday's has dropped to 24% chance of rain and Sunday says a 60% chance of rain.
I think a wet sprint race has the potential to be a massive screw up. I am hoping it will be dry on Saturday.
How about a sprint race with wet then dry, then wet with a safety car then dry, then wet . . . another safety car, . . . etc.
Correct, but pointing out why some use that language might lead to said individual feeling attacked for their (lack) of language skills.... #NoTroll #NotToOffend
