And, if you are important enough, you'll get it.

That doesn't work at all. 330s were 10,000 plus or minus. 50000 would be into the 1980s.

There is very little about this sales package that works...

"We're sorry for the typo folks. The original Enzo car was sold already. No, THIS particular
car was owned by Elvis Presley - he wanted serial number 50000 to commemorate the Fifty
Thousandth Time He Cashed a Check from his record company! Yeah - that's it folks! Step

It's the PF job number, not the s/n.

This car was actually 2947GT (the seller didn't know where to find theS/N; 50000 is stamped in the trunk). Some books allege that it is the 330 prototype, ex-Enzo. It turns out to be a standard 250GTE, per further research. I was somewhat involved in the sale, to my chagrin.

Ed - I talked with Frankie a number of times before he finally sold the car and got a number of different stories. One question he did not fully answer was if the chassis was actually longer than a standard GTE, as reported elsewhere. I made measurements off photos, which says it is, but would like to know if someone actually measured the car and if it was longer, where is the extra length.

The car is now on eBay. Marcel M. provided docs showing it to be a standard 250. I think Frank and many others were just perpetuating what reached print, which is why I rarely give out historical info unless it is something I know of my own observation. Once it reaches print it goes on forever, accurate or not! Engine is standard 128D.
