I really want a red one!!!
Would someone with Manheim mind posting the last couple of Mc20 Cielo sales prices when you have a moment?
wow, so you would take an MC20 over a 458 and 488? Impressive, good job Maz If it werent for the depreciation, I would say its a great car. But they are falling harder than a rock in water
I sold my 458 for $275K and bought a virtually new MC20 for under $200K. I am thrilled with this exchange. In 5- 10 years this car will get its’ recognition. Fast, balanced and beautiful- and very rare and already out of production (coupe). No lag and throttle response superior to my GT3.
I really love my MC20 and I am considering adding a car lift to my garage and if I do I will purchase another car but will not sell the MC20.At the moment there is not a Ferrari that knocks me out but I am considering a McLaren 750S coupe or a Lamborghini Huracan Tecnica next yeas since I think both will depreciate some in the next 6 months. What is your opinion on either of these?
Not sure about the McLaren 750S (but this depends if you are British...or not! ) but the Huracan Tecnica will be a good investment.
I have read that somewhere between 800-1000 came to North America,it has also been estimated that production was 4-5 a day in the first year and all were coups and then in 2023 there were Spiders and Cielos so the number of coups in 2023 is questionable.
Image Unavailable, Please Login Good to hear. Just bought a 2022 with less than 2000 kms for just under 150K US. Delivery in early April, can't wait. Was going to buy a new 296, but at the price I got it for, the MC20 made a whole lot more sense, and car looks better too. I just thought of possible future problems with the hybrid system of the 296 and thought I could not stomach the potential repair cost based on what Ferrari is charging just for an extended warranty on the hybrid system of the GTB
Bang for the buck would be a Z06 Corvette. Best Exotic for the Buck would be an MC20 Best overall Exotic would be the Assetto Fiorano 296. I love my MC20 and yes it makes the most logical sense to purchase at these deals. But you can not compare it to the 296 when it comes to Driving. MC20 and Z06 both have great user interface features. The 296 user UI experience lacks in many areas, but it’s just a high learning curve. I do like the MC20 user experience the most so I will give the Win there. Handling is a complete other story. The 296 is on another level of the MC20 and Z06. Winner is 296. Power: having both electric and gas power going to only the rear wheels, is a game changer. The power curve is instant Torque. Here again the 296 stands above the other 3 and should, it has considerably more HP per LB. The Z06 is next, with just raw power of a perfect V8 motor. The MC20 has an excellent engine. Right there with the 296. Both V6 TT. But the MC20 does not have the advantage of a hybrid Electric system. I think if you could ECU Tune the MC20 to turn up the Boost. It would be right there with the Z06. Z06 is like a Stock Car, where MC20 and 296 are F1 machines at heart. An ECU tune for the 296 would just put that car way over the top. That’s my review. The 296 is the King. But you can not go wrong with any of the 3 and there are some mods for each that can make them really stand out and make the car yours. Get these MC20 deals while you can. Production I believe is over. They are only making the Ceilo and a higher HP version of the MC20 is coming, same with the 296. I mean the 296 will still out perform the ZR1. So this is a very high bar.
that’s a gorgeous car….so crazy how different they can look in different colors. first mod…. Exhaust. That car is way too Quiet.
There are many 2023 MC20 deals available currently (brand new, not registered, full 4 yr warranty in tact) for $100-125k off MSRP (albeit loaded cars with MSRP $310-340k)...but who wants a stripped down model without CF, race seats, upgraded sound, CCBs, and all the goodies anyway? Even 2024 MC20's are being advertised for $75k off MSRP. So if you have $200-225k budget, do you buy a brand new Cielo or a 2016-2018 488 Spider?
I thought about the 488 instead and decided against it. It’s older and not anywhere near as special and it’s more money.
No. In sports cars I currently have a 812 GTS, MC20 and three different 911’s. I more recently sold my 458 spider and F12. I hope to add a 296 next.
would love to hear your comparison of MC20 to 458 and 911, especially if its a GT3 Did you buy your MC20 brand new? Coupe or Cielo?
My manual 991.2 GT3 is the most involved driving experience. The MC20 and 458/ F12/ 812 are more of an event because they feel so special. All great cars providing different experiences- rear, mid and front engine and 6/ 8/ 12 cylinders all normally aspirated except for the MC20. I purchased my MC20 coupe used with 1400 miles.
That's funny. I was myself at first shopping for a used 488, and I really like the car. But I already have a Ferrari V8, and the MC20 is just a lot more modern and special for me than a 488. I like the style, the exclusivity, the doors, the high tech V6, carbon tub, and modern electronics with central screen and Carplay of the MC20. I can't live without Waze due to never ending radar traps being installed, and I like the option of my passenger being able to interact with the NAV screen. Plus the MC20 is under warranty, and the price was great.
100% I agree. I mean you can get the much newer Car, MC20, for less money. Now if you are talking the F8 and prices crashing on them too, which makes no sense. Then it would all depend on how its Spec'ed out.
