So, I'm the PlaneGuy, I live, sleep, eat airplanes. I have been an airport bum (employed) for 20 years. I have been selling airplanes for the last 10 yrs. 5200+/- hours all single engine. I work for a Cessna dealer now, but I can attempt to be non-bias if asked questions. I'm a car buff. I autocross, road coarse and drag race my car... Basically beat the .. out of it. So hello.
welcome Jim! everyone be nice, we might be able to get the large aviation company Jim works for to sponsor.
Hello, I'm from Fchat too. I'm an aircraft mech in the Air Force. I've worked F-16, F-15, C-5, KC-10, C-141, C-17 aircraft. I don't have a PPL but someday. I have a great interest in aircraft design, and engineering. Look forward to chatting with all of you. Jim
I'm at Mcgoo now, been there for almost 8yrs now. I was stationed previously out at Luke, The Kun twice, and Dover.
Oh believe me , I spent my time in the -135, then luckily got paroled to the KC-10! I'm 6'3 so me and the -135 did not get along very well.
I enjoyed McGoo, but I liked Travis a whole lot better. Are you in the AMXS? I have a good buddy who's a KC-10 Pro-Super
No, I'm in the MXS. Who's your buddy? I probably know him. Is it Hobbs? He's been there forever. Never been to Travis, I don't want to go, for me it would be a nightmare.
KOURKE Car fan, I love all kinds of cars, american, foreign, fast, slow, whatever. Went to culinary school and worked as a chef for a short time, been interested in the stock market for a while and now i'm doing that full time.
I'm over here from F-chat too. I'm not a pilot but have an aviation career. I started My ATC at MKG in 1987 then CLE tower and approach 91-98, CVG tower and approach 98-08 now at C90 (ord tracon) til I retire. I like to keep up with the pilot/ATC issues and maybe can add a different perspective to some topics.
I'm Aaron. I've been a plane/car buff since before I could walk! My dad was a multi/instrument rated pilot for about 15 years before I was born, and I wanted to follow in his foot steps, only a step forward and make a career out of it. I was fortunate enough to get in touch with a family friend who had a Cessna 172 when I was about 13, and he showed me the "ropes" so to speak. I'm color blind, and he had the control tower point the light gun at me, and I couldn't tell the difference between white and green. It crushed any piloting dreams I have/had.. but I continue to look to the skies for every prop/turbo prop/jet engine I hear and can only dream!!
Howdy guys, Just another Ferrari driver from FChat who single pilots a Cessna Citation SII for a living.
It is. I count my blessings everyday. More than that, as a Newbie to this great site, I feel honored to get a comment from you.
