    Hi, guys

Recently I reach to my dealer regarding ordering and spec my F8 and SF90. My sales person told me the F8 is the last V8 of it's product line.(exclude the special edition) The successor of F8 will be V6+hybrid system. I was wondering did anyone else heard the same story? Is it legit?

Also, how's the wait time/availability of F8 from your dealer? Just wondering how popular they are.

    Thank you
    L

SF90? Nice. I’ve heard about the V6 hybrid but I thought it was to be an extension of the range, not a replacement. I’m told by the local dealer in Toronto that the wait time for the F8 is 6 to 8 months. Let’s us know your final specs!

F8 is the last non hybrid v8. V6 hybrid being shown q1 2021 with end of 2021 first deliveries. F8 will likely going to end of next year.

There will be no F8 special edition unless the actual f8 run is even shorter than what it appears to be- 2 years.

The only v8 going forward will be the SF90 a V8 hybrid.

    Correct but I was referring to the traditional V8 Ferraris (308, 328, 355, 360, 430,458, 488 etc)

6 to 8 months to receive an F8 is not going to happen. I placed my order January 2020 and my dealer said nothing has happened whatsoever on my car yet. I made a post asking about wait time not long ago and the most common answer was 12 to 16 months from order to delivery.

I placed my order on May 2020 and my dealer said “ hopefully “ I’ll receive it on 1st quarter of 2021. “ United Arab Emirates- Dubai “

Closer to what I heard than 12-18 months mentioned by the other poster.

I can see Ferrari pushing the F8 production run a year longer than planned if it sells well. The economic turmoil that has just begun with governments shutting the whole world down will impact a lot.

Might be different delivery times for Europ. I'm in the states and If your time line is correct then that means I should receive my car by the fall but if the dealer is telling me as of 2 weeks ago that nothing has even happened on my car yet as of 6 months in I don't see that being possible. From the timelines I've seen posted on this forum 12 to 16 months has been the usual. Also learned on this forum not to always believe what the dealer tells you.

As with a lot of delayed things going around the world I cant see Ferrari wanting to cut short the F8 to release the LB. It would be crazy to release a new model of epic change in a stuffed up economy.

They will make a F8 speciale IMO

My F8 was ordered Dec 31, 2019. It shows wait listed but the photos show “in production” with photos expected soon. Dealer had estimated Aug or Sep when the order was accepted.
