im on my 2nd Mondial,1st was a 1984, 3.0 QV , this one is a minty 1988 3.2 QV which I played with a bit, colour codedthroughout and fitted new 348 wheels and spacers plus s/s sports exhaust, metal wing badges etc, looks fine to me ( pic attached) which means all 3 of my grandkids can go to Mcdonalds on a Sunday,, hows thats for joy,I parked my car last week at a Shopping Mall type place, came back to it to find a person instructing a group of his friends on the history of my car, goes something like this, " of course the Mon-Deel is the least valued of all Ferraris, not a real Ferrari you see,coz its got 4 seats, they never wanted to make it anyway, a complete flop and not many about because they didnt last, although this looks very shiny, ( 2 tubs of Scdueria Wax it should be you pratt), small Fiat engines and mickey mouse back seats,,, looks nice but its not exactly an F40 is it",
how I avoided lamping this tw*T is beyond me,, instead,, I clapped and when everybody turned round, I said, " and all that from a man who shops at Matalan",, his pals all s******ed, as I started the car almost all without exception took out their phones to record the sweet event of stainless steel exhaust spilling tons of CO2 over the guy,, sometimes a little restraint is hard to find, but its part of the game.
tell you what though, I sold my tuned BMW F1 Alpina B10, the 4.2 with 400+ bhp and bought this car,,would I go back to it because it could eat a 355 for breakfast. bless me little socks, NO WAY>

Those 348 wheels really set the Mondial off, and I love your number plate, I had my eye on that when you had it on fleabay a few months back.

I love your shopping Mall story, you should have said so was Magnums car a Fiat too?, I had a similar story with a Golf driver (not that i'm knocking Golfs), its just this pr@t was saying 'yeah a Mondials ok I spose, not exactly the best one'

Same here I had a mega rare Porsche 928 ClubSport, it was a factory lightened and a 5.0L factory tuned engine and so they could Homologate it for LeMans, it was quicker than my old bosses 355 that he had at the time, but in a moment of stupidity it got married to a Lamp post, I then bought the Mondial that I still have, it was like a milk float compared to the porker but I love it 10 times more than I ever did the 928

thanks , the 20mm spacers make it look a bit more butch and drastically improves the ride and handling, bought the number plate ENZ10 1 for my 50th birthday last year, was going to sell it, although I never advertised it on
fleabay!! but last month started an Internet Listing company and called it Enzio Ltd, so the plate makes it all work, seems a sensible way to advertise without spending mega bucks on a plate I may never own otherwise, am keeping the plate for the time being, kinda goes with the car anyway,

Brilliant! I love it when idiots like that are made to look like fools. I once saw this guy, who was showing his grilfriend, i presume, this TVR Tamora at a car show and he said "Now of course, i once owned this model of porsche, its great, engine in the back and went like s*** off a shovel" I was like OMG :O So i turned around and said "oh really, well this is a very rare model of Porsche, i believe they call it a TVR Tamora dumbass, oh and btw the engine is in the front ;)"

He was embarrassed, his grilfriend just laughed!

Amazing Mondial, love the 348 rims on it!
