Brings back memories of a point and shoot camera made in Japan that I had in the 80's. It had voice commands and warnings inside. I darn near lost it when I started to take a picture near the end of the day when a female voice blurted out, "TOO DOK, USE FRASH!" My sister-in-law wouldn't touch the camera.

Absolutely; it's just a phrase I don't hear much anymore. I referred to to "bi***ing Betty" the other day while driving with some co-workers and was rewarded with blank stares.

On the Embraer Brasilia, we referred to her as Aural Annie.

Chris- It is difficult to underestimate the awareness of the general American public. But then again, I know next to nothing about music and most would consider me musically illiterate.

Amen to that. Then again, it may be a good thing that: "you'll never go broke underestimating the intelligence of the American public"

There are days I want to set up a website "Learn to avoid rip-offs. Send $5 to this address." I imagine there'd be plenty of people who send $10 to be doubly protected

Just the repeated stall warnings on short final that got my attention. Is it worth it for 5 kts?

I was boarding an Alaska Air flight a few weeks ago, and as we walked in the main door, the cockpit door was open. After passing a few rows, from the cockpit, "Pull up, pull up".

Pretty funny how everyone got quiet, and the stewardesses just laughed, because they were running behind on the pre-flgiht.
