This sort of rainbow and warped effect from the lexan? Anyone else notice this?

Also, with a PICKY eye and really scrutinizing, how is your fitment of the rear bumper to the quarter panels and the alignment of the diffuser? Perfect or just pretty good? Do you notice any very slight wave in the plastic bumper edge where it butts up to the rear quarter? Lemme know please how yours is looking at it with a very scrutinizing eye. Thanks all

That's very common with PPF and some coatings. Is this straight from the factory?

Rear Lexmark window; normal. My 22 has the same issues.

I think I lost ya-- are you referring to the fitment and bumper' warp part of my questions? If so, the car is covered with PPF and yes, I understand some PPF might make some edges 'look' not fitted perfectly.... and I do paint correction and ceramic coatings for exotics as my side business so I'm not sure what you mean by some coatings causing anything like I described above... and no, the car is a 2021 and had a previous owner.

oh wait... you're probably referring to the rainbow effect? Yes, ceramic will rainbow as it flashes meaning it's time to wipe and remove the residue.... but this is the Lexan rear engine window and it is not PPF'ed or ceramic coated.

Homelink is an option at $1350. Yes, the rainbow affect is normal on the lexan.

ah ok, guess I don't have that option as I don't see it on the build sheet or sticker and there are no buttons anywhere on interior that I see. Thanks.

The buttons would be on the bottom of the rear view mirror housing.

    Auto-correct failure. Lexan not Lexmark.

Time to sell it. If that makes really makes you sad then you should get a plaid and enjoy looking like every other car.:cool:

you'd barely notice the sound difference going from a F8 to a Plaid.

If the no homelink bothers you, you can upgrade your garage door motor and use your phone to open them. Its a nice feature to make sure your garage doors are closed while you are away and that YOUR SPOUSE ISNT CHEATING ON YOU WHILE YOURE AT WORK

Of course then you have to sit in your driveway for a second and click a button on your phone to open your garage door which sucks, but hey just providing an alternative to keeping a garage door opener in your faraaaari

    * my wife didn't cheat on me btw, it was just for comedic value.
