That is one good lookin kid
There were a lot of great cars, and I've got a lot of nice pics of them. But I like this one with the flags. Ok, maybe it's because I helped hang the darn things. Or maybe there's a certain Mondial in it. Or one of the best 328's I've ever seen, owned by a really nice guy I've come to know through FCA events like this. Na, it must be the flags. ;-) Image Unavailable, Please Login
Yes, it's a Rosso Scuderia car owned by a really down-to-earth and easy to talk to guy. This is his 4th Ferrari, and his first red one. That color really stands out in person - especially next to an older Rosso Corsa car.
That is indeed a very neat shot. Particularly because the Chase building looks quite different. Must be the lighting and the low tele lens.
Is that Italy? The villa in the background can only be Italian - unless someone had one built with Italian style and vintage materials in the USA... where is it?
LOL I'm glad it gave you that impression, because that was the goal: This is Galleria Marchetti in Chicago. You are absolutely right, it is deliberately made to look like an Italian villa, which is why I loved it so much as the backdrop to this shot. I only wish he hadn't put his IL plate on: Underneath is a Modena plate. Oh well.
Got to get my 2 cents in. I know this is late, but that is the way it goes. This shot is earlier in the morning just before the street got full of cars and people. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Haha, it's from Continental in Hinsdale. They are really getting that car out there! It was in Geneva a few weeks ago Image Unavailable, Please Login
