Two memories from visiting Roma last May -- 1. Seeing a guy on a scooter, wearing sandals, smoking a cigarette, drinking a cup of coffee, and talking on a cell phone, all at the same time. 2. Crossing the six lane road headed to the Forum. There's only one way to do it. You just look straight ahead and start walking at a consistent pace. The key is not stopping or slowing down. So long as you don't panic, somehow the guy on the scooter, wearing sandals, smoking a cig, drinking coffee and talking on the cell will just miss you as he goes by. Dale

I love that. I saw in Morocco on a two-way traffic road a car pull out in the left lane to pass our cab. As we were being passed on a two way road another car proceeded to pass the vehicle passing us. We had two cars passing us at the same time. My wifes family can relate to this film. They are very friendly and warm people. Italians are very friendly and WARM people. They have the best looking women in the world. Where is Luigi ????
Turks rule!!!!! You know there is a saying in Italy and in Grece when young children are playing and when their mothers are having a hard time getting them inside. They just yell ohhhhhhhhhh come inside now!! the TURKS are coming, teh TURKS are coming. I still enjoy when they call us the barbariens.
Love it - did you see the same creator's one on driving? It was posted here long ago and I sent it out to many friends. Thanks
That was fantastic! Anyone else have the book "How to be an Italian?" Wow. Quick search shows that it's gone up in value considerably. Mine was 75¢! www.search.barnesandnoble.com/OopBooks/oopResultsIsbn.asp?userid=3480LQ6SRD&wid=47040451&origean=9780843100211&wbflg=N&page=%2Fbooksearch%2FisbnInquiry%2Easp
