Saw an orange Lotus Elise in Ames today and a Maserati Quattroporte on a car hauler when heading to Des Moines.

Yes, I forgot about that one. I think that must be the one to which Dom is referring.

So, there is <at least> one red, and one black, 330 GTC running around in the DSM area then. As, I mentioned, there used to be a second red one, but it was sold and left the state about a year ago (btw, it was in need of a minor restoration and had not been running for many years, so not one you would have ever seen out and about).

 

Took the S4 in for an oil change and saw this V10 R8 in the service center. Know the owner quite well.

i was just in there too, i am surprised no one has picked up the r8 they have for sale. it's been in there for a bit now.

 

Could be, as I noted, I have not seen the car, don't know its colour, but I'll bet in Des Moines, 2 is more than enough not to confuse the issue, and that must be the car.

I'll send a note to my friend and see how he responds.

Saw 2 Maserati Granturismos on 35S. One maroon convertible with ISU fan plates and a white one with temp tags.

 

Saw the maroon Maserati and a black Jaguar F-type in Ames today

Saw a Bentley Continental Flying Spur on I 80 near the truck stop

 

Saw a silver Bentley CGT in DSM at a car shop. It looked pretty rough, it had scratches and paint peeling. Also looked as though it got a new hood.

Today on I 35 south I saw a white Testarossa on a flatbed, it looked nice.

 

Yesterday on I 35 south there was a black Maserati Granturismo and a white Testarossa at Skunk River Restorations

 

Tonight on I 35 south I saw a black Bentely Supersports convertible

 

Saw a Porsche Turbo in a garage in Clive today.

Saw a black Maserati Quattroporte on I 35 south.

A dark blue Challenger Hellcat at a Starbucks in Clive.

Saw this 458 Italia at a Hy-Vee in West Des Moines, check out those rims!

Nice. I saw a Bentley Continental Flying Spur on the interstate this morning and then a white Testarossa on a flatbed on I 35 south near Ames around 6:30

 

Unfortunately I have no pictures as I was either driving or working when I saw all these cars.

I have seen a black Maserati GT in Ames, a black Maserati Quattroporte in Des Moines (it had some interesting rims), a black Maserati Ghibli on the interstate near grimes, a white Maserati Quattroporte at a dealership in Des Moines, and a silver BMW z8 in downtown Des Moines.

This will be my last weekend in Iowa, I am hoping to do some serious car spotting!! So please everyone drive your cars this weekend, I would love to see them, thanks in advance!!

 

You can spot some great cars at the Merle Hay Mall Cars and Coffee on Saturday from 9 to 11. The weather should be fantastic so there may be a great group this month.
