    It took years of therapy after living in Germany and hearing him sing in German on German TV......

    The Germans love for DH is one of the strange things nobody really can understand. Kinda like the French love Jerry Lewis. Either beats me.

    This is absolutely a hilarious thread. Only Allan can find something like this. Next thing you know DH will be singing Britney songs in German. I think the reason the French find Jerry Lewis so funny is because he portrays Americans as such Dope's! Actually there was a Jerry Lewis film called Cracking Up that was pretty funny and he did do a good job on the TV Show WiseGuy and the movie King of Comedy.

    Hell yeah! Id rather listen to Vanilla sing "Ice Ice Baby" anytime than Mr Hasllehoffer sing "Raindrops keep falling on my head" with a german accent!

    The guy who did the Jerry Lewis translations into French was the key to success.
    When they switched to a different translator - Jerry Lewis films did not do well in France.

    LOL I have to admit I used to bump the Vanilla Ice back in the old days but Hassellhoff is torture. I have never heard him sing but can only imagine how bad it is.

    I have. Even at some historic events like the fall of the Berlin wall. As I said, it is hard to understand the Germans in this regard.

    Given the current trend, we might see him at next year's Superbowl halftime show....

    OH GREAT, just my luck!! I just finished the order on the Stradale and I did not order the radio/cd option... And now Allen comes up with this "must have" collection CD that Lambo includes with every new Lambo... I can call the dealer and change my order, possible?? :) Maybe, I just have to order a Lambo to get it?? ;)
