    This is all super objective.

Unpopular opinion. I'd rather have my Mondial than a Daytona.

Never liked the looks of the Daytona. That is just my opinion.

Would take a Testarossa over a 550 even if both a stick. Why? Looks.

I drove an F50 briefly years ago. I remember the sound was incredible..but it was definatly a case of never meet your hero. It was unfortunately a lot less of a car the I imagined. The Enzo on the other hand was magic..although at bit of a posers car..F40..ticked every box..

The best road-going Ferrari I have ever driven - F40. by far, the most challenging, fun, and exhilarating car ... I got to drive a 288 GTO but only in a parking lot, so can't really comment, and I've been a passenger in all the other supercars... the F-40 is the only ( road ) car I've been in that when you get out of, your neck hurts, you feel like you have mastered something. ( this was on track ) 2nd. would be 25o SWB and 250 Lusso.... 3rd, F8, 4th 599, 5th 488GTB, 6th 308GTB, 7th BBi, 8th Daytona, 9th Testarossa 10th 550.

When I first drove an Enzo I was incredibly disappointed by the gearbox/F1 system. Ruined the whole experince for me. Felt just as ****ty as the first old F1 systems out of the 355.

Now the F40, IMO that is the best of all. Scary with cold tires and brakes but worth it.

The 328? beautiful classic Italian design but it's slooooooooow. Believe me I know, I own a 308. :)

the F-40 is a work out, even at moderate pace.... to really work it takes skill and balls.

    Agreed.

Our shop is on a lake that is a giant loop, racetrack ;), the owner asked me to “to get on it” so he could get a good pic. Lol, I can around screaming in a four wheel drift just inches off the curb. :) I had my hands full. In retrospect it wasn’t smart to do but Lord was it fun.

If my name was on the title I’d drive that car on the edge everyday. :)

I drove a FCA members F-40 for 15 laps at Roebling Road, with him next to me... telling me to go harder! When I got out my neck was killing me.... all night. that was almost 20 years ago!

I didn't find the gearbox all that bad. Definatly slow shifting around town..but higher up in the rev range I found it pretty damn good.

Too be fair I didn’t get to drive it properly as you mentioned at high revs.

It’s always fascinating to me to see how different we can each perceive the same car. I just spent a lot of time in a 488 and I have to say it left me disappointed. Now, I’m sure on the track it’s heaven but just driving around town I felt it was soulless. It was just very sterile to me and not what I hoped for. Not sure how to put it words other than to say it felt “mass produced”, almost generic in a weird way. It made me feel like a passenger and not a driver. YMMV

I have just reached the conclusion that the F1 system is only perfection when driven in anger. Driving these cars around town with paddles isn’t for me. Push that “auto” button and it makes it infinitely worse IMO. I had much more fun in a manual 360.

Ferrari and its race to bring F1 to the street has greatly diminished the driving experience. Its a complete waste of time to build motors with such insane HP and which spools up so fast that a manual gearbox cant keep up, and then pack it with nanny aids. I like the 488s , and I have heard folks on both ends of the spectrum as to how they feel about the car. Maybe one Ferrari for this lifetime is enough for me, at this point Im not sure. My Q50 is a fun car, its got 7 speeds / AWD and you can shift it from a nice booted shifter knob right where its suppose to be, its a 2 peddle car, but having the shifter in the traditional spot makes it feel like a 3 peddle car. I wish Ferrari would build their gearboxes with the traditional shifter knob, I think it would make driving a 488 much more engaging. I can have more fun in my 125 shifter kart than I could in these modern built exotics with their electronic gearboxes. Would I trade in my 328 ? Not a chance, Ill take a Ferrari with a third of the HP and a nice 5 speed manual any day of the week and twice on Sunday.Would I pay $ 205,000 for a manual 360, not a ****ing chance in hell !!!, same with a 430 .Once the Q50 gets 8 wides and super sticky Conties, Ill be ready to suck up the asphalt in the canyons at an insane pace !! You have to love the Jap build quality, its second to none, its that simple. Honda power got Senna to 3 World Titles, which should have been four, but thats another story.

    Thank you
