As always, was really nice seeing everyone come out for dinner, the movie, and I trust Idol's was good too. My special thanks to all the dinner folk (Sam, Noah, Vik, Hubert and guests) for waiting for Juliana & I as long as you did. Gridlock in Manhattan sucks.

well, i do use the term hostess somewhat charitably - so i don't know that it was that. she wasn't a hostess in the sense of the "Singapore Airlines Hostess"
Ok, so she wasn't good looking enough to make JC's or Hubert's portfolio. I admit to being 10 or so seats away and it was dark. But I would have thought she was at least offering to bring you water since the A/C wasn't working
Think JC's got the hookup on this one. Having dated three of them, I can say the "Singapore Girls" are truly in a breed of their own.

I lived in singapore for a year myself, didnt care for the place much though, felt too controlled almost artificial to me.. how can you ban something like chewing gum?!
I thought they recently lifted that ban, or at least are allowing several American brands in. THough I understand it's still a canning experience if one spits in the street and they are having problems with urinating in the street (outside pubs) as well. Never a public restroom around when you need one.
did i start this conversation? funny, since i've never even been to singapore, myself. but flew SQ to tokyo, and the singapore girls were niiiiice. And their outfits wouldn't work for any other airline, definitely not BA.
the dudes in singapore are soooo small....that if i go down there....Im considered one of the big dudes there! in every men's store....they have men's pants size starting at like size 24" or 25"! a lot of the guys down there look homosexual too.
