Just went through the novitec rosso 599 thread and picked out some of my favourite pics. Haven't really posted these pics of my Sessanta. Colour's a little different than what I originally wanted. But it's growing on me and it drives like a dream. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
I'd like to see pix of that, as the wheels on your Sessanta are the only thing that doesn't gel with me. One of the few bi-color cars that turns me on. Sessantas are rare and wonderful cars. You are super fortunate to have one. Cheers, Geo
Thanks George, Ad, Haroon for the comments. It really took a while for the colour to work for me. However I'd always wanted a Sessanta so when this one came up I couldn't be choosy. The general feedback from those who see it is very positive....which helps. At the moment the car is having some minor changes and work done. Once that is finished I'll post some more pics. Hopefully not too long. I will also put the challenge wheels on for summer and post then. That really changes the look. Sean
Sean- Would have been interesting to see a 612 Sessanta with the coves painted in the contrasting color, like an early Corvette. Still love those wheels. Just shows how tastes vary. Probably helps they are similar to Daytona wheels, but with a gap in the spokes.
Terry - Love the idea of the contrasting coves. I've seen a couple of 612's like that and a couple of images of a 612 conversion. IMO the conversion looked very, very much like a corvette - stunning. in fact I think I also saw that image somewhere on the forum not too long ago. And dont get me wrong, I like the original wheels (didn't know they were the prototype for the OTOs though) but I also like the contrast that the challenges give when they're on.
John- Yup, I like them, too, on the CS, F430, 612 and 599. But nobody else has Sean's wheels except other Sessanta owners.
