It's what I'd expect from Time magazine.

To me a great fight is one that has changing momentum and and goes some rounds, that's why it's hard to consider any of the Tyson fights as being great. Even Hagler Hearns was too short for me, more like three rounds of Mayhem. Pacquiao's great fights were when he was more reckless like against Juan Manuel Marquez. Then Freddy Roach...or something else made him more dominate as he moved up in weight. Very strange.

Like most boxing history, it's something that could be discussed Ad nauseam, and I could probably do it. :)

Can't believe the Kessler Froch scoring. I thought Froch controlled the fight with his jab and counters. Kessler was walking into allot of punches and missing. Not a Froch fan, I was surprised at his boxing ability since in his other fights he'd been more of a crude brawler. I had it 118 111 for Froch, guess I was watching a different fight than everybody else?

I'm glad Kessler won. Being from Wales I've been a fan of Joe Calzaghe's since before he came to the big stage with his fight against Lacy. I've been fed up of Froch's constant attempts to get Calzaghe out of retirement for a fight which Calzaghe would have won hands down. Hopefully now from this loss, Froch will get the picture and move on with his own career which after his earlier super 6 victories could take him to another world title rather than trying to hassle Calzaghe out of retirement just for extra money.

Yeah, that fight is not going to live up to the hype. Mosley will have his moments, but little chance of wining. I don't know why everybody gets so excited about Mayweather fighting. Ever see him in an exciting fight?

Nah, I dont expect it to be TOOOOOO exciting. :D:D

But, they are still big name fighters so you just tend to expect the best out of them which should make for a good fight. :D:D

Whether or not that happens we will soon see. :D:D

Any exciting Mayweather fights, I cant think of any at the moment off the top of my head. :D:D

Interesting that NO boxing writer or analyst is picking Mosley to win, Mayweather is a 4-1 favorite, then why is this considered a super fight, or something so anticipated? The more I think about it, the more I see Mosley chasing Floyd around, and becoming frustrated because he can't land. I'd be surprised if Mosley wins more than 3 rounds. Forget the Margarito fight, Mosley will look slow and old.

Also that this will do huge pay per view numbers, and be considered a financial success proving that boxing is alive and well, when in fact it's still starving for good matchups. This fight will be a dud.

+1 I am thinking crap like this is why everyone goes to a blood sport. Boxing is as interesting as ice dancing lately.

no kidding, that was just stupid, mosley vs mayweather, what a horrible fight, i am so over boxing. f this 'sport'

too many belts, too many classes, too much bs. i am gonna go watch the ufc fight. it delivers what it promises, by comparison.

UGH that hurt! Still pining for a good fight, too bad I can't get into UFC. Boxing is still the sweet science.

Yes, just like Madden, it's time for Merchant to go. Glad they got rid of Lennox Lewis, it was painful listening to him try to string together two coherent sentences.

You can still like him, he's just waiting for Merchant to get out of the way so he can do it full time.

Merchant's speech pattern makes me wonder just how many strokes he has had, and Lederman, just listening to him makes me feel as if I'll have an aneurysm at any moment. I won't deny that they have been valuable and informative in the past, or that they were greats, or that Max has a lot to learn still, but I now just crank music between rounds so as not to hear Lederman.

Anybody else think Max looks like a South Park character?

I am not going to say Max is that great, just better delivery. This little commentary from 18 months ago is interesting. Or him *****ing about judges in the Katsidis-Diaz fight.

Max is the future, I like him allot, just don't look him in the eyes because he's liable to hypnotize you with his. LOL

One thing though, there is no logic in boxing. His inference that Mayweather barley beats De Lahoya, Pacqiauo destroys DeLahoya, therefore Pacqiauo must handily beat Mayweather? Not true, it's all about styles, besides DeLahoya was old and dehydrated when he fought Pacquiao.

At least he does have the balls to talk about scoring and bad match-ups. I think it is something the younger generations can appreciate. He did have some words about the Klitschko clan and the dreadful heavyweights, I just can't find the clip. He and Lou Dibella had some ribbing a while ago too, really making it clear the promotors run the sport.

Agreed, he's more likely to attract younger fans, and he doesn't measure his words like Merchant does.

Ok, Amir vs Paulie tonight. Is this fight going to help regain respect for the sport for any of us, or are we going through another dark age?

I am not upset that pacman did not fight, but I am displeased with what was passed off as a substitute and all the other fights we are seeing are just too weak.

The last couple of months have been a nightmare of poor match ups and disappointments. Even hard core fans must be ready to throw their hands up, me included.

If Malignaggi had more power I'd feel better about his chances, but I have to admit I've not seen Khan fight. I don't care who wins, just please give us a good fight!

On the undercard, Victor Ortiz has another chance to show he's more than a hype job, he should blow out Nate Campbell, or he's another disappointment.

I had no idea Freddie Roach was in Khan's corner. That does not bode well for Paulie. Fight is in the introductions right now, let's see what happens. And w/b Max, nice intro.
