I predicted a Canelo KO around the 8th or 9th.

The fight went how I expected, Plant to win a few rounds before Canelo started to work him out and land some shots on him.

Before the big shot that rocked his world............and the rest is history lol.

 

Good fight. Canelo is the top dog. I don't think any of the "top four contenders " can take him out right now.

Canelo is top dog and there is someone out there that will beat him, but all depends on which weight division that fighter is in lol.

How about Canelo vs. GGG III on May 7, 2022, at the MGM Grand Garden Arena. GGG will be 40. They can pick a weight.

 

I would love to see it, but Canelo definitely wins the 3rd one via stoppage as I feel GGG is too old now to go 12 rounds with Canelo.

 

That's why I picked GGG. A perfect fight for Cinco de Mayo in Las Vegas.

 

Canelo's level of opponents lately have been far superior than GGG level of opponents. Also there has been some big boys compared to GGG's size. Canelo should win the trilogy a bit easier than the previous two.

 

The word on the street in Canelo will fight in May, and there won't be any news on an opponent until January.

Here's what we have next. Benavidez is a possibility for Canelo.

I really dig Benavidez. I just don't know if he is Canelo good. I really don't know.

 

Benavidez might be the best of the rest. He hits hard, but his boxing skills vs. Canelo seem questionable to me. He fights for Al Haymon at Premier Boxing Champions, so Al will have to chill on the PPV deal for a Canelo matchup. Follow the $$$.

 

If you want to make money, yep, this is the fight to make lol

My mate reckons Charlo has Canelo’s number.

I don’t know about that.

 

The Benavidez fight was unimpressive. He needs to get a better opponent. His resume sucks. I don't even think Charlo cares about fighting him now.

Waiting on this one. Murata is tough, fast, and smart.

I have never heard of this guy fighting GGG, but I am looking forward to seeing what GGG is like being 12 months out of the ring.

I hope he doesn't have any ring rust, he's pushing 40 years old!

 

The self-imposed year off by GGG may hurt or help him. Murata is tough.
