    Following one of my previous thread, I would like to know what are the points to use to lift the back and the front of a 308, and where to place the stands.
    Apparently (Verell's comment) if you do it at the wrong place you can bend the chassis.

    I usually start to jack mine using the oval section frame rails, about level with the a-arms and then support with the stand at about the junction of the Y in the chassis. At the front I raise behind the wheel on the frame rail Y section joint and put the stand on the I section frame rails at the mid section of the front a-arm or thereabouts.
