I am trying to locate the E015 - Inside roof node (Nim) on a 2008 599 GTB to diagnose a non working glove box. Where is it actually located? It is hard to tell from the parts manual (#3) Image Unavailable, Please Login

Just reading again about your non-working glove box, but on the 612, the glovebox has its own relay located in the footwell compartments (as in it sits on its own, away from awy other relays - don't ask me why). I would take a look at this. If nothing else, you can bridge the wires to see if there is power getting to the glovebox solenoid.
I am fortunate to own 2 599 GTB‘s and like to swap the NIM to see if the problem follows the unit. I am just not sure of the exact location and don’t want to take half the car apart to locate it. # 8 is the input for the glove compartment. Image Unavailable, Please Login
From the picture I would guess it is under dash near the front of the tunnel. It is clearly inside the passanger compartment. Time the get the scope and crawl around a bit.
I was talking rubbish before about the roof node being in the roof. Its under the floor - pop the mat off, then undo the 4 screws holding the floor panel down. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Looks like I need to find a workshop manual. So far I drove the car 35,000 miles with almost zero problems. I’ll keep it forever ;-) I’ll address the glove box issue after I return from my 3000 mile road trip next week.
If you could some how email the manual would be really great.Thank you!!! Cylinder 10, 11, 12 on mine and Cylinder 10 and 12 on my friends 599. We stopped at Ferrari of Atlanta but the did not have any coils in stock. Still a great trip with lots of fun and hard driving. ;-)
