    I’ve been an admirer of the Ferrari brand for as long as I can remember. I think it started in my late teens when I first read about a Dino in a magazine. I always craned my neck to get a view during some of the rare occasions I saw one on the road or somewhere along the way. Came close to purchasing a 308 in the mid 80’s but life got in the way. The dream always lived someplace in a corner of my brain throughout the years.

    Fast forward to late last year, got into a conversation with a new friend who had his 328 for many years. After getting a chance to drive it my desire was once again brought to the forefront. My search was on.

    Leaning on my friends expertise (one of his suggestions was to visit here) and using the vast array of knowledge from these boards (Thanks everyone), a dream over 40 years in the making came true and this was sitting in my driveway.

    She is indeed a beauty! Congrats!!!!!!!!!!

    Just remember to set aside funds for maintenance and repairs as its part of ownership. And as you already know, its not cheap to fix and maintain a Ferrari.

    And always drive it the way its designed to be driven and meant to be driven and you will have endless smiles every time you drive her.

    Similar to most of us - its a dream car come true. We are blessed.

    Enjoy her to the max.

    We are meeting in Buckhead at 3035 Peachtree Rd between 10am-1pm. It's actually not right on Peachtree but a side street just perpendicular to it. You can put the restaurant "La Bilboquet" into your gps and you'll run right into us.

    Thanks everyone for all the kind words.

    PKIM it’s a 2008 and I think the brakes were standard by that year, it also has CF throughout and on the rear. Leather everywhere with matching red stitching and electric seats. Nicely appointed in my opinion. Good luck with your search.

    While I may lament not doing it sooner, doing it later in life gives an appreciation and freedom to enjoy it fully (I plan to drive it as often as I can) that I may not have had earlier.

    Thanks LittleTino hopefully I’ll be able to make it Saturday morning. Looking forward getting to know more owners and learn from there experiences.

    NIcely done and congrats!

    Watch out for all that crazy traffic in PTC/Newnan during those late afternoon blinding sunset areas. In other words, don't drive it during evening rush hour.

    Any mods or is it completely stock?
