    Hi folks !

    Quick question.
On a trip last week in Tuscany I saw the most amazing blue 360 Spider.
Was kind of a bright metallic blue. Most beautiful color I have ever seen.
I'm sure I already saw a pic posted of it over here on this webiste. Anybody got any clue what I am talking about ?
I would appreciate the color code and somebody to post a pic.

    Thank you in advance !

    Yves

    It was probably Azzuro California, which is close to a sky blue metallic. The color is no longer offered as part of the standard range of color offerings. Have a look at this thread;

    NOOOOOOO!!!

    Say it ain't so...

How much is for a custom paint to get it from the factory anyway? We know that in Maranello, money talks.

Out-of-range paint colour will cost you $2,579.

Upon deleting Azzuro California, they introduced Blue Mirabeau as part of the standard range, which is a little darker than California. If you like California, you'd probably like Mirabeau

Wow, that's a lot better than expected. Is that the same as paint-to-match (or if you just give them the PPG #)?

The number on the back of the Azzuro California sample is 524.

Paint to match is different, whereas you are specifying a custom color that Ferrari has never had in their standard range. To do that would cost $5,157.

    Thanks Kizdan for the responses.

Is anyone else surprised that given buyers will pay $6,000 for a stripe, they rarely pay $5,000 to get a customized color?

Sure, most people will find a color they like in the standard factory offerings, but it's interesting to me that more people don't have the interest in getting a more unique look to their car.

I am also suprised, Ryan. As far as I can remember, I have not seen any US owners that have paint-to-match custom colors. Ryan, maybe you will be among the first!

Me too. I'll post one tonight.

That's what I would get - one of the 3-layer pearl coats like the Lambo yellow and orange. Orange with a layer of red pearl to it. I posted some ideas here, in this Lambo thread: http://ferrarichat.com/forum/showpost.php?p=237505&postcount=12
