look for a good 458 "buyers guide". Differences between years? What years are better then others and what to lookout for when shopping. Will have a PPI done when i find a potential car but want to narrow my search a bit. Thanks to any info.

Understand where your coming from and i think i should have expanded a little on what information im looking for sorry about that.. I did do a little searching but most talk about mileage high or low and options to have. Found one that talked about 2012+ "seemed" to be better years then 10-11. And it just might be that threw-out the production run there weren't any notable changes, i just don't know. Not looking for what options i should get, but rather what have turns out to be more problems then they are worth. i remember back when shopping for a 911 in the early 2004 that the interior carbon package you wanted to stay away from. It just didn't hold up well. You wanted 2003+ because of an IMS update over the earlier ones. things like that.

Dig a little deeper, there are plenty threads addressing exactly what you are looking for, I say this with confidence because I made my 1st Ferrari purchase back in March, a 2012 458. Did not buy my car based on year or mileage but finding the right color and options at the right price. Also better to search and learn a little about the car back ground, again I passed on several cars due to questionable history and wear and tear items. Vs any specific year. Again lots of info here and various other places on the web
