    I get goosebumps just hearing the sound...I just need to find an F355 and F40 owner who will take me for a spin. I imagine that once I drive an F355 that I will have no choice but to buy one. The goal for now is to get one by the time I am 30. :)

    WOW! This thread has given some great insights into some pretty profound moments in alot of our lives.

    It sounds like my little AZ buddy Patrick has been quite busy losing lots of things since his fcar ride! :)

    I wish when I was 15 I had known someone with a Ferrari that was willing to share (I would have camped outside his door! What got me hooked was a salesman in 1970 at the NY auto show that let me sit in a Daytona....It was very cool how he let me behind the ropes and made a fuss over me and let this little kid (11) sit in that great car.

    I have had the privilage of having quite a few Ferraris 'live' with me over the years....(308, Mondial t, TR, 348, F40).....and it is always an honor for me to share my enthusiasm and excitement for the cars with a fellow enthusiast. My hats go off to all the people that I have given rides to at the Virginia City Hillclimb over the years.....These enthusiasts wait by the side of the road for a chance to be hurled up the hill in a Ferrari at full chat with drivers of unknown skills...very brave souls indeed.

    Patrick...perhaps I will have a chance to give you a ride at a race track sometime.....
