    I was being a bit cheeky there...it’s well used in the rain, or any other weather.

    First time I drove it (or any Countach) was when I picked it up from Jonathan/Mike Pullen, and drove 500 miles home, in torrential rain, in the dark... steerng wheel on ‘wrong’ side, weak yellow headlights, also set for driving on other side of the road. A bonding experience!

    It’s going away for an engine out service next week, ready for 40th birthday next spring.

    Very interesting, so this is actually a factory show car, since it was completed in early October 1978, it was likely Paris Salon 1978 or Geneva Salon 1979

    Cool picture!
    Pirelli P7 white lettering, a nice show touch. The Campagnolo decal placement by the valve stem, rather then on the opposite side of the stem. Good to have period pictures to reference small details for accuracy.
