Luggage compartment bonnet locking problem

Hey All! My, new to me, 2005 360 Spider is a blast! But I have a minor issue with the luggage compartment bonnet latch. The latch keeps getting an unlatch signal. So when I lock the car, after about a minute the bonnet unlatches and the alarm goes off. I’ve swapped relays; no help. I removed the electric bonnet release switch from the center console and the latch was still intermittently releasing. To make the car drivable I removed the bonnet actuator fuse and use the emergency mechanical release, but if that cable breaks I’ll really be up a creek.
Any ideas? Would replacing the latch solenoid be helpful?
