Hey everyone, I have been reading Ferrarichat for a few months now. I signed up so I could view images in threads. However. I read just about every word on here as well. I am in college and drive an Audi which I love. Driving in a Ferrari would be the ultimate experience; of course owning would be even better. My intrests include: Weightlifting, computers, german cars, Ferrari, economics/stock market investing.

Last time I saw a Ferrari in person was when I was driving in downtown Harwich Port in Cape Cod. (I am down there often) It was a red 512TR. I am convinced one day I will own a Ferrari.

Anyone in Mass need a driving partner!? Pleased to be here! ~ Peter Tocci

Guess I'll go ahead and post up since I joined today.

I'm 18, soon to be attending UT Austin. I drive the best I can afford, a 1989 BMW 325i cabrio (cheap, light, RWD). Just having fun upgrading and doing maintinence, hope to keep her for a long time. Going to start attending auto-x events in the next week for the fun of it. I'll see how the cards are delt me later in life, but I would love to have a prancing horse in my future garage. Here's to hoping...!

But really I signed up to see the pictures you guys post.

    Hi everyone!

My name's Andy, I love Ferraris and all things car related.

By day I'm a mild mannered insurance broker (and have arranged cover for many famous and valuable Ferraris amongst others!) and out of work I help run a detailing forum here in the UK and spend my spare time detailing cars.

1 Daughter (living with the ex - with me alternate weekends)
    1 Girlfriend (long suffering)
1 Ex Wife (not on her Xmas card list)
2 Dogs (Enzo an 11 month old Springer and Mutley a 4 year old cross)
1 Cat (Millie - sly and sneering but that's cats for you)
1 Peugeot 205 (mintier than mint and about to get an MI16 engine transplant)
1 Mortgage (which stops me spending way more than I should on said Peugeot 205)

That's about it - lurked here for a while without registering but finally took the plunge!

great thread... don't think I saw it before.

    I'm J,

I live in what most of you consider the middle-of-nowhere, wife of 6 yrs (she hasn't killed me yet!), son of 1 year (Linus, beyond cute and loves cars), Dog: Thurmond Munson (Wheaton Terrier, aka spazz).

I drive BMWs, what can I say, I can afford them with the above and a mortgage... wife like's Jeeps, and she can't break those, so it works for me.

I'm a manager/director for a financial services firm (primarily investments and fee-planning) and have a small practice of my own.

and I'm 27.... lots of years left. Hopefully will be moving up the food chain here in the next month or so, which should put me that much closer.

I honestly hang out here on occasion 'cause a) I'd like a f-car some day, and b) you guys are hillarious

Hi guys I'm Andrew, living here in Singapore. I'm only 18 and don't currently own a car yet, and dream of someday owning and driving my own Ferrari. I've recently started developing a real admiration and interest in exotics, and hope to learn alot more about Ferrari's here. I see quite a lot of nice cars around here , saw a Pagani Zonda yesterday for the first time as well as a Ferrari 612. It's great to learn more from all you F-car owners, and even better to admire all of your pictures. Never ever even been in an F-car before, hope that changes soon!

OK- I admit it. I have an NSX and just supercharged it. A phenomenal ride after supercharging. Yes the car is designed well and handles wonderfully. It requires minimal service and is well though out.

It is not a Ferrari as all of us well know. No history, no V8 music behind the driver. Am I being sensible to keep a well running and great handling vehicle or should I take the plunge. I feel I might be frustrated with the repair problems of an F car but the siren's song plays in my ear.

NSX is a lot of bang for the buck, but......... It simply will not take the place of a Ferrari. NSX = reliable, quick, fun transportation. Ferrari brings out the passion in driving. There are a number of my customers that own both. The NSX gets them to work and back in style, OH but the weekends.....
When the right car is found (sorted and maintained) the experiance is quite rewarding. There are 2 local folks (if you are in Vail) you have to talk to before you decide on a direction. Shoot me a PM and I will give you a couple of numbers to call. Folks that were in the same boat as you and can give you feedback from that point of view.

    Hello all,

I am new to the site. I am an Americn living in Belgium. I have only been here a few weeks and I have really enjoyed talking to many of the folks on here and reading and learning more and more about my favorite cars.

I have wanted a 308 since the late 70s when my dad drove me around to a house where one was visiting. It wasnt a local car, but my dad knew it was something special. I immediately started drawing them on all my schoolbooks and notebooks, etc...as all good young boys should do.

A few weeks ago I finally had the opportunity to go to a Ferrari Event which was at Spa Francorchamps here in Belgium. It was amazing!!!! I have posted pics in the European area of FerrariChat but if anyone wants anything specific I think I ended up taking about 200+ pictures. Just email me at [email protected] and I will be glad to see what I have that you may like to see.

Anyway, my personal cars are my Ford Expedition, BMW 3 series, Ford Escort (for my wife), and my Trans Am. The TA stays in the US for now so that I have something there when I am home, but I miss the sound of my big V8. It has quite a few modifications and I look forward to finishing the car when I am back there, probably with a Procharger Supercharger. My end goal is 500rwhp. At that point I hope to be able to buy my own 308 or other Ferrari as the opportunities arise.

Thanks for having such a great Forum where everyone is able to learn so much about these wonderful automobiles.

    Patrick

Hey guys, I am a full-time college student who here recently (3 years ago) became a huge ferrari/exotic car enthusiast. My group of friends now consist of car lovers in general, without the lack of exotics I may add. Several of my friends own exotic cars: carerra gt, gt 40, enzo, 360, 430.... so on and so on, which has sparked my continuous interest in ferraris. my friend owns ferrari of atlanta and has played a key role in evolving my interest. again, i thank all of you for being friendly and look forward to meeting/chatting with you about the lovely interest we share!!!

Hey everyone, I’ve been a car enthusiast since my early teens. I started with a turbo eagle talon, and am now playing with 2 Toyota mr2 turbo’s. I’ve always been in love with Ferrari’s, and have visited several Ferrari dealerships in Italy, more specifically in Modena. It's part of my Italian culture!!! I’d love to have a Ferrari in my mid 30's, however more realistically, I may never own one, and will probably be lured away to the Porsche’s or BMW’s. This site is a very good primary source of Ferrari information, and I have enjoyed what I’ve taken from it thus far. Kudo's to its founders and management!!

Hey y'all. I've been here for a little while, never actually made a "proper" introduction. I just kind of snuck into the 348 forum, as well as everywhere else slowly.

But anyway, here's my official intro.

I'm Travis, just about 22 years old. Go to college at Arizona State University. My major of choice is a B.S. in Business Administration. I do not own any Ferraris, nor does my family. I hope to change this one day as I'm only the second member of my entire family to go to college and get a degree...my brother was first, and I'm going into my senior year of college. I was born and raised in the Bay Area of California, and my family resides just outside of Sacramento, CA. When I'm not in Arizona at school, I can be found in San Diego with the love of my life. I'll be moving to So.Cal as soon as I graduate, so that is why I post in the Northern and Southern California sections of the forum here.

I hope to be practical in my exotic car choice soon, and get a Maserati Coupe Cambiocorsa (2002-whatever I'll be able to afford).

Lastly, I intend to stick around these parts. I really like this forum, the people, and the cars and love of cars. Hopefully I'll be at the Crystal Cove meet, or Haus of Pizza luncheons sooner or later.

    That's all!

Might as well throw my name in the hat.

    I'm Ricky - 22 - Visual Communication Design student @ Kent State.

Read the boards way more than I'll ever post just because I don't/won't have a Ferrari for a long time, if ever. I still admire the cars, which I'm sure you're used to. I do plan on acquiring an early NSX within the next 4 years, so I'll have something similar... that I can actually afford to maintain :p

Not sure if this will get on, anyway I am writing a book, part of which is a discussion about the most beautiful ferrari ever, from front, side, front/side, rear/side and rear views. Anyone got an opinion on this?
    I have a 550 maranello and I reckon its a real winner from rear/side.
