Here is my Marcello Gandini designed Qvale Mangusta. It is #103 out of 284 produced. These pictures are before it had a full detail. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Handsigned Gandini lithography I bought last year in Italy. In the year 1994 100 pcs of this lithography were made for the members of the Italian Lamborghini club.
Another fantastic interview from Davide Cironi! Grazie Davide! Mr. Gandini talks about Ferruccio Lamborghini from 4:30 to 5:35. Interesting to see the difference between his attitude and de Tomaso’s.
That Group 5 X1/9 is a beauty. I remember the body kits that were offered in the early 80s. The history of the Fiat X1/9 Dallara group 5 Kits appear to be available. https://xwebforums.com/forum/index.php?threads/dallara-body-kits-which-one.33208/
Biturbo series 2 both sedan and coupe Ghibli Quattroporte IV I selected what I always liked these "incognito supercars", the interiors match the slickness of the exterior, back when leather still looked high quality. Re-creation. Michael Jackson, I've read that he was a car guy. I have some respect, if it is true, that he tried to get the real Stratos, but was denied. Then commissioned one (a shell) to be built. He must have really appreciated the Bertone car. further built by http://www.andysaunders.net/ I remember when it was on auction on ebay. I think around 60k or more. I do not remember what it was powered by. Would have been cool to win as it will be the only closest thing to the real one. Even though the front hatch needs some more molding to the body. Another gem from Davide Cironi. A true Xmas present: Gandini tells us about what car he prefers from the history of car making and some other beautiful stories. When asked about his favorite memories, he immediately tells the stroy about the Countach’s development! The end is particularly moving when he wraps up his carreer in such a modest way. Impressive.
i remembered when it was on ebay in circa 2003ish for 10k-ish i recall in california when it had a beetle chassis i think.. relic of the moonwalker shoot? they swapped it over to an x19 while in england
i could not believe his opinion on the production montreal mirrors is same as mine: car could have been a masterpiece...ruined by wrong proportions (too thin and too tall) Davide did a good job on his video. happy to have 2 cars of mine featured in it
