Hi Wolfarossa! I've just opened a bottle of Villiera Cru Monroe 1990 (Limited Release). 50% Cabernet Sauvignon + 50% Merlot. Produced from 8-14 year old vineyards and aged in oak for 14 months. It was rated as the top Cape red wine in 1990 and represented South Africa in competitions around the world in 1992 (where it was rated VVG). 12.5% alcohol - a taught and spicy wine that received a 5/5 rating from John Platter and a 4.5/5 rating from Dave Hughes. Wolfarossa, Yes - it's hot!!! I suffered from heat fatigue yesterday and threw up 5 times in the morning (and what a waste of good red wine that was )! For the rest of the day I was a zombie, and went to sleep at 16h00! Sun is good....but not too much! Cheers, MARK
