I love it... she's a be-yatch extrordinaire. I have a friend who knows her quite well. Could NOT have happened to a nicer person.

She definitely got what she deserved. I am doubting she will do any real time for his though. More then likely community service and fines. Would be great to see her in the prison yard planting flowers though.

Now, if they would only get Hillary for the Vince Foster murder, justice truly would be served.

She still says "I didn't do anything wrong" unbelievable arrogance. Wall Street missed the bet.

Like another Fchat member, know people who have worked with her. She is a Major Beyotch (with a capitol B) and what comes around goes around.

    How do you figgure:

    A) before she invented "living" she was a stock broker--that is she knew that using inside information was against the law.
    B) she knew that her broker was giving her information before it got to the street--therefore, the information was from the inside.
    C) she acted upon the information--knowing it was illegal
    D) her defense was based around that it was such a triffling of money compared to her net worth that it was OK to do illegal things

    Send her up the river.

I have heard she will probably get about a year per count. So that is about 4 years, I'm sure she won't serve the full sentence though.

One of my biggest pet peeves is when people play dumb to things they cleary have knowledge of.

Absolutely Agree - send her up the river. Just seemed like an acquittal was coming down. She was nailed on obstruction charges and lying not insider trading as of yet. Insider trading trial is to follow later.

I heard a Judge threw out the worst charge so she was convicted on 4 lessor counts. Did the Helmsley woman do any jail time ?

Martha will probably go to the country club jail in Danbury, CT if she gets jail time

My gf hates Martha one of the few females that don't idolize her, Martha's lawyer probably cost her 10x more than the 150k she made, all those pics of her at partys with the CEO of Imclone didn't help her either.
