    i am rebuilding calipers on a biturbo SI black edition 1987

    somebody knows the original-correct color for the calipers?
    black? anodized gold?

    any help is greatly appreciated

    Never heard of a 87 SI black edition? Is that an Italy market only thing?

    To my knowledge it was only for the italian market.

    All the 87 Biturbos that made it to the USA had whatever was standard on the ATE calipers, same as BMW.

    Were people even doing fancy caliper painting in 87? They're cast iron.

    If MIE sells them, as staatsof has suggested, I would go via that route.

    It's sure to be an improvement on the original box.
