Max Verstappen

I think Max is the best driver on the the grid but-WHAT A JERK!!! It would have cost him nothing to give up a place to his teammate.

 

He is not the best driver on the grid and i totally agree, he is a jerk, a big one.

 

Remember Vettel and Webber? That was the same.

 

What was Max's problem today? He lost my respect, that's for sure. Perez has helped Max many times and max can't help Perez and RedBull with a 1-2 in the championship? Perez has certainly earned Max more than 2 measly points he refused to give to Perez.

 

Wait till Abu Dhabi and see if Max helps Perez out.

I'm sure Max will make amends.

 

Seems to do with Perez crashing intentionally in Monaco, denying Max Pole, which he allegedly confirmed in private to Horner & co. Didn't buy it at first but the onboard is pretty telling...

I think Max actually did material damage to the team's credibility and morale with this move (or refusal to move)... is there a post-Mateschitz power struggle under way at Red Bull?

 

I said it was probably Monaco in the "RACE" thread and saw these videos about it. I didn't believe it at first. I thought it was some type of conspiracy AND it didn't make the news.

I think Jos was more pissed about Monaco than Max was.

I think this was simply Max throwing his weight around because he can.

There's no reason why he couldn't throw Checo a measly bone.

 

Today we didn't see the best of Max Verstappen, for sure. I was disappointed.

First, he should have been more cautious/patient when dealing with Hamilton.
It doesn't matter who is right or wrong, he should have known better.
Max probably threw away his race and an eventual win by being too hasty, IMO.

Second, I don't know if he realised what was at stake for Checo but not letting him through.
Let's say it wasn't generous of him, and Perez lost his 2nd spot in the WDC.

 

What is absolutely crystal clear is that RBR is Max's team--end of story.

 

I beleive Max just opened up a shtz storm at RB. Not just about denying checo. but other comments about Monaco.
