Then put Max in the Alpha Tauri and promote Ricciardo to Red Bull. Then they could own 1-3 on the grid.
    Easy

I would have said the same thing when Russell was at Williams.....put Lewis at Williams and move Russell to Mercedes with Bottas.....then it'll be 1-3 on the grid.

I am certain that Max with the Alpha Tauri could achieve one podium or two with particular circumstances..
Like Senna did with the Toleman in 1984.

Would be tough to say for sure but he's certainly evolved as a driver compared to his first season. In his first year he came very close to a few podiums. I remember at Austin 2015 in the wet he was hunting the Mercs down, which is saying something given where that Toro Rosso was vs the Mercs.

Incidentally, in 2015 Toro Rosso was 101.85% down on the Mercs on average that year.

Alpha Tauri this year? 101.85% on the Red Bull....

...or how Max took it to Mercedes in 2021 with a clearly inferior car throughout the season

(without going on a tangent about Abu Dhabi final laps in general he put in one hell of a season in that car and both guys got equal screwing throughout that season e.g. Silverstone, Monza, Azjerbajan, I'm sure I'm forgetting a few others in general).

There are those critics who simply must believe that every one one of those curses ... every single time Verstappen swears ... Max is blaming his team, Max is throwing his team under the bus

For some, there's simply no understanding that Verstappen can actually curse something or someone, without throwing his team under the bus.

THIS is what I want to see instead of sprint races. Do a qualifying session, keep the driver positions and a reverse grid for the cars. Let's see how Verstappen gets on with a Haas or Alpha Tauri. Give Sergeant the RB19. Keep the writeoffs outside the budget cap

D0n't reverse the grids, rotate the drivers around cars with the same engine+tranny.

So, max and Perez switch with Yuki and Danni.
Lewis and Russel rotate with Aston and with Williams and with McLaren
    ...
Renault has Gassly drive Ocon's car,.....

Max is now on 45 victories (6 away from Prost his 51 or 8 away from Vettel his 53), with 22 of them won from pole position. Winning from lowest starting position was during the BelgianGP in 2022, where he started from 14th position.

    Remarkable stats !!
But there will always be some who say stats don't tell the whole story.
Max Verstappen is writting a new page of F1 history.
Also, up to (and including) 2021 he didn't have the best car, IMO.

Agree on everything but stats means little without a context.

Stats may not tell everything, but by the time anyone is past 30 or 40 F1 wins (fewer for the 50's and 60's) and three championships, they tell enough. No one, at any point in history, is anything other than one of the very very best to get to that point. You don't earn and keep your place in any team(s) to rack up that many wins and championships unless you are the best of your generation. I don't like Senna or Schumacher, but I admit they are amongst the greatest talents to have been on the grid. To try and argue that Lewis or Max are or aren't deserving of being considered some of the greatest ever is just stupid. Right now Max is driving one of, if not the, greatest F1 cars ever built. But above and beyond that he's driving just keeps hitting new highs. Right now he IS A BETTER driver than Lewis, but that wasn't the case a few years ago. Right now I think Lewis is only just getting his Mojo back after being robbed of the 21 title by the Masi decision. I don't think there was anything to choose between Lewis and Max in 21. Since then Max has gone from strength to strength, while Lewis really dropped off. But now Lewis is getting his mental game back together and driving well again. It would be awesome to see them both in similar machinery.

He was robbed. Red Bull won many races without pitting. You don't change the rules at the last minute of the biggest race of the year.

or, he could have "Silverstoned" Verstappen again during the pass ... just as he promised he would ;)

Fact is, Verstappen won the hard-earned title by passing Hamilton on a racetrack. Everything else is just background noise.
