It's turned out well. The integration of the modern parts is nice and subtle. The steering wheel looks a little small in comparison to the car overall, although that maybe an illusion with no instruments behind it?

We made it that size on purpose as we're using Corvette quick ratio steering and it makes it a great driver that way.

It's been great watching the progress of this fun ride. I know Meg will be thrilled
cruising around in this piece of art. If there were any left, if would make a perfect
    drive-in movie car.

Thanks for letting us experience the build Jim !

I recently saw one in Colorado. One day we'll be driving her around there and will stop for a double bill.

    The eagle has landed!

What was her response when she saw it for the first time? The car fits in just nicely with the rest of the crowd and she looks very happy. Good times.

    Cheers :)

Meg was Very Happy. It drives really well and suits her perfectly.

That is a Holman and Moody engine stand and the engine on it is the engine that was in the MK-IV that won Le Mans in 1967. It's part of the spares that came with my MK-IV which were given to the previous owner by Ford.

As the Museum that owns the car it belongs in has left that car in non running condition I figure it's better off with me.

"Ship" does imply slow and steady doesn't it. Allow me to rephrase...

    - She looks happy, and at home, as the pilot of that rocketship. :)

Grand and makes a stylish presence, but point and shoot as needed.
