'74 black pantera detomaso driving west on shawnee mission parkway. Guy was very nice and told me what year it was. He said he never takes it to any shows. The rumble of the engine and smell of exhaust was great. Very thin taillights looked good in the dark on a black car.

 

So far I have spotted a Yellow and a greyish Maser, two Elises (blue and yellow). And still no F-cars.

I have never seen a Diablo or a Galrado in Omaha tho.

 

Hello Midwest F chatters! I am new to the sight so my spotting was roughly a month ago but I saw a yellow Gallardo at 70th & Pioneers in Lincoln. I was shocked to see something like this in Lincoln, are there more exotics lurking around this fair city? (I just moved back here from North Carolina)

 

Hey Tom... I've never seen a Gallardo in town... wow.

the BMWCCA (biggest car group around ex. mustangs/street rods) has a monthly social event in lincoln or Omaha...

this month we're at Buzzard Billies in the Haymarket... next wednesday the 13th... love to see you there. all sorts of car-people, not just BMWs...

would love to see some new faces!

 

Good morning all, I guess this is the first sign of a f-chat addiction e-mailing at work, telling your boss that you will be a few minutes late to a meeting because you need to do something urgent. I saw the yellow G car this morning and it had yellow rims, it was sitting in that shopping center on hwy 2 and 56th in Lincoln. Does anyone know who this is?

I have a Lamborghini (Acapulco Blue '87 Jalpa) out here in Tiburon - is there a show or anything coming up? Last year there was a show about this time down at Eagle Hills.

Either way, we should all get together and cruise or shoot pix or something!

We should definitely have a chat about good area mechanics!

Yep, that's me. I live in Whitehawk at 196th and F. I use a place called C.A.R.S. as my mechanic, his name is Bob Diers. He's a great guy, super honest and really knows his stuff.

 

The Show at Eagle Hills was in June (it is every year) and is done by the "All Euro Club" which is basically a conglomerate of the larger clubs, the BMWCCA hosts ever 2 or 3 years, and its pretty much always at Eagle Hills...

the Yellow Maserati was owned by the guy who recently sold the lancers.

he has another new one... I think its red, but not sure.

 

Last Thursday evening, 7/7/05, I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw a gorgeous (of course) 360 Spyder in Overland Park, at the FlyFishing shop at 87th & Grant. Didn't get to talk to the owner, but it was sweet. I tend to forget just how beautiful those are until you get to see them out in the wild. Anyone know this car?

Your TR is beautiful! I love seeing it - I think I've seen it twice!

I may need to get Bob's contact info from you if possible. I have been pretty lucky in re: maintenance, and havent needed anyone since the pre-purchase inspections (which I had Jim Forehead/Mr.Sport Car and Sports Car Garage 13th St. do separately).

I dont know why I missed the Eagle Hills show this year (Although last year, there were only about eight cars down there - Craig Holcomb's 512 and my Lambo were the only Italians (except for a couple of really nice Alfas). Too bad! I guess I don't stay very connected.

The show used to be on father's day, but that kinda got nixed as attendance fell... I do not know who was in charge this year, but we've had great turn-out the years teh 'CCA hosted it.

first year I went there was an amazing early jag there... I want to say it was pre-XK120... but maybe it WAS an XK... who knows...

 

CCampbell, I think I saw that Jalpa a few years back at a car show at Flashbacks nice Lambo.

As for sightings I have been stuck behind a Lotus Esprit V8 recently. And I have seen a few Elises. I have also seen a older Porshe 911T (it was the generation before Porsche started using lights from the Boxter on the 911s)

 

I heard that someone here in town owns a silver mclaren f1? Is this true? I heard from a friend that it was purchased from aristocrat motors.

 

I would like to know about this supposed Enzo that has been sighted in the Omaha/KC area. Then again I might be gullible.

 

for da kansas citians and out of town visitors, come down to Kona Grill (Plaza) either friday or sat. nights. the odds are good you will run into an exotic or two (yeah...that too).

 

Rolling through leawood area today I found a beautiful yellow 360 spyder. Snapped a pic and would like to post. How would I go about doing that. I also need to block out plates, don't know how to do that.

 

Ferrari trailer in Lincoln today! I was sitting down to dinner tonight and my wife was looking out the window and she asked if that horsey thing on the trailer going by was a Ferrari horsey. I jumped up to see the back end of it, but sure enough it was a white trailer with Ferrari on the side, so who took delivery tonight? And if the lucky someone is on F Chat speak up please.
