Ferraris, Lamborghinis, and yachts are nickles and dimes when you are talking about 300m. Load yourself up with those. 15m ? The yachts can get pretty expensive though. It would be hard to blow 300m. It is too bad someone reputable did not manage his estate.

ESPN paid R.G. 50K for interviews/footage for "Mike Tyson: Beyond the Glory." Can't imagine being a scrawny female wife of his, as it must not have been pleasant when he got mad. Whether he got stupid in a Hotel room with a beauty pageant contestant, though - I tend to doubt the alleged victim's story to the extent he got railroaded. Seemed like a Golddigger from the get-go - mind you, of all times and places for him to try to pull a stunt? IMHO, he served/wasted time for consensual sex.
If Mike had managed well he would be a $1B man now. Instead he's to old to fight and owes more then he'll ever see. Maybe he'll hit it big with the "Iron Mike" bedroom appliance. After he got out of prison he earned $140M. Where the hell did it go? Mike blew his money on BS. Gave it away for nothing. $22.5 million each was given to pals Rory Holloway and John Horne. The baby-faced Holloway was a buddy of Tyson's from his teen-age years in Albany, N.Y. Horne, a shoe salesman and failed standup comic, made his way into the Tyson inner circle through a friendship with Horne's brother.
also Mr. Don King... AS Pro-motor-mouth manager etc don lightened the bling load from our boy Mickey to the tune of millions, Mike didn't have a clue about what money was or how it was going away .
If you guys are tyson fans there is a great book that was written a few years ago by one of his ex drivers / bodyguards. I think its called "in the ring" or something like that. THere is a good picture of an invoice for a '91 diablo he bought for a ridiculous sum. Supposedly tyson had a whole garage floor to himself one of the casino hotels just for his cars. The book also tells about how he used to hook up with girls like Naomi Campbell in the back of his limo and how the whole car would shake. trashy book but fun reading.
I HAVE respect for women, just don't like blood-suckers. That marriage was a set-up, it was clear from the beginning that Givens only came in for the money and nothing else. She never had anything faith in that marriage !!!
I heard he had an agreement for this last fight that he was going to be able to retain 2 mil of his paycheck and let the rest go to pay off his debt (or start to)

I don't believe he makes the 300 million. It's split up with the manager, trainer and corner men plus expenses are deducted too. Maybe he got 100 million. Don King is the devil himself and has robbed all his fighters including Ali. He does more to his fighters than any racist white man has ever done. He marketed Mike for his own profit and made Mike look awful in the press. Mike is mixed up and may very well have mental issues. King took full advantage of it all. This is a classic story of rags to riches to rags. He is too immature to handle his affairs and nobody helped him at all. Maybe he should of been followed by a guy with a tazer to keep him straight. He is a fierce man. He will die broke or kill himself thru his depression.

Mike Tyson is so stupid, he could have earned a billion dollars and it would all be gone. He won't go down as one of the greatest of all time. There are too many others better. People with virtually unblemished records. Who was it, Rocky Marciano that had 49 victories, 45 KOs and no losses. Hell, Roy Jones has twice the record that Tyson does. He is a much better boxer and always has been. Tyson was very good, but not great. And now he's done.
Well I think it is safe to say that Tyson has not had the most conventional career. Lol Tyson, in his prime, was the most devastating boxer we have seen.
That's only because most of us are only old enough to have seen about the last 30 years in boxing. He was very devastating though, for a short while.

I happan to be a very big fan of Mike Tyson all thought I don't support some of his actions, I truely do feel bad for him, for his financial state and his state in the boxing world. He is a living legend, some of the best boxing I think *at least in my era* came from him. He will be fighting june 11th and I hope he wins, this is probley the only chance he has left. He didn't spend the money he had, the people around him did. I whole heartly believe that he did not rape that girl, and that it was a Don King setup. He started going a little of track after the rape trail and all and lost a few fights and hasn't been the same since. I think alot of it was he was around the wrong people. People who just used him for money and to promote there own name in the world of fame. June 11th
