any idea what the background is - location?
The last pic is Upper West Side of Manhattan, that's the Soldiers & Sailors monument I believe on 89th street.
That's correct- (West) 89th St. & Riverside Drive, where the street grid and the buildings give way to Riverside Park.
Refreshing this thread a bit. We represent a gentleman interested in collecting each Ferrari first owned by Mr. Davis. We've been asked to begin with the 308. Our understanding is that the car was sold by Beverly Hills Car Club in 2018 to a gentleman from Romania. If anyone has information relative the whereabouts of the car's most current owner, we'd be eternally grateful!
When Miles Davis crashed his Lamborghini, I was there In 1972, Miles Davis wrecked his coke-filled Miura and broke both his legs. Jim Glickenhaus was the first person on scene. https://www.roadandtrack.com/car-culture/entertainment/a24896/when-miles-davis-crashed-his-lamborghini-i-was-there/
