    I have been looking for a Pegasus sign but I haven’t seen a lot of them. Today, I ran across a 5 ft, lighted Pegasus sign. Pretty good condition - a couple of scratches but looks great.

    I haven’t seen a lot of signs that are this condition or size. I have tried to do some research but again, haven’t found a lot to compare to.

    Does anyone have knowledge on these signs? He is asking a seemingly pretty steep price but he might be in line. I went ahead and put it on hold because we have purchased a good amount of stuff from him.

    the later plastic signs have not come into their own yet. The Pegasus makes it interesting. I searched through some auctions and could not find any comps. I have very limited experience with plastic signs but my gut tells me to buy it for the need you have. I would not place a lot of future collector value on this piece. This sign was on just about every Mobil station.

    the plastic signs are easily made...injection modeling if I recall.

    I had one for years but sold it for $300 dollar's. It was an old one due to the 2prong electric cord, not the newer 3prong grounded. I sold it because I was moving. There are still plenty of stations with these still on them. Wish I could help you more, or a estimate.
