Does anyone have any idea of what the onroads/tax/other charges for a Zonda would be?

The obvious answer to a major portion of that would be to start an LMCT (genuinely) and buy and sell the exotics in that.

starts to hit home just how silly it all is when you think you could buy a fleet of 60 or 70 taxis for the price of a toy... TOTALLY WORTH IT!!!!!

Not really, its all relative. Different strokes for different folks.
Think of what some people pay for a bottle of wine, house or hooker.

Should have asked me about wine, I could answer that but hookers are out of my level of expertise.

I would guess though, it would depend on what tickles your fancy. :)

edit: oh, and how many you want at the same time

If the $1.2m includes GST and LCT (as it should), the on road costs in Qld would be around $25,000.

should be yeah? can't be bothered scrolling back, but he said $1.4mil or so didn't he...?

    that's $1.4M x 25% = $350k

not taking into account $57k LCT free coz i don't know the final price but yeah with on-road and stamp etc i can see $2Mil being emancipated from scud's brownie-points fund

TOTAL TAXES etc would be in the region of $450k (total WOFTAM). The onroad costs in QLD would be in the region of $25k (as indicated) on top of the $1.3 million.............So drive away in the mid $1.3's by my calculations.

Judging by the difficulty in getting the F50 insured, the Zonda would be a tough call in that department.

    What's WOFTAM?
If total taxes = 450k and Zonda F RRP = 1.3mil then shouldn't it be 1.75mil drive away?

360C, you're going to have to stop using "WOFTAM" as nobody understands it.

You DO realise that the vast majority of the tax component is included in the retail price by law? The $1.3 million includes the duty, luxury car tax and GST i.e. $425k ish of the $450k. The only Government grab is the OTR costs which is a fancy polish from the dealer and the 2% (in QLD) rego fee.
