I just picked up my copy of Outrun 2006: Coast to Coast. Everything that alx355gt said is spot on, the only thing I'm not of a fan of is lack of interface with the Driving Force Pro controller. This has to be one of the biggest mistakes Sega made while putting this game together. Come on, this is a driving game so why no DFP? At least it would make the game a bit more challenging. The mini games in Heart Attack mode can be a bit frustrating, I was concerned with beating the clock & getting to the next stage then impressing the GF with how many times I can run into a beach ball or hitting ghosts.

Also expect to find unlocked & hidden items in the game, I suspect different Ferraris & various custom paint jobs. It would be sweet to find a 330 P4 or a F1 car but who knows?? If I do find them, I’ll be glad to post them here. Aside from that, it’s an entertaining game perfect for even the youngest of gamers not to mention takes me back to when I first saw it the arcade during the summer of 1984.

Will, where did you get it and what did it cost? Amazon still hasn't shipped mine, and they're charging me tax AND shipping!

If you race the 360 in PGR3 you get to listen to my old car that I let MS record. Listening to the audio, they did a very good job of capturing the authentic sound.

I don't usually play video games, but we have a PS2 and XBox in the household and I really wanted to drive a Ferrari in a game. PGR3 is the obvious choice, but it's only on the XBox 360! I settled for Forza Motorsport, which is actually quite good and has most of the cars you would want (sans Lambos, Ariel, and a few others) from PGR3.

I might have to check out Outrun...

I got that last night. I can't beleive how well my F430 is holding up considering how hard and often I put it in the wall.

Not a huge fan of Outrun although the cars are awesome and the nostalgia is cool too.

PGR3 on Xbox is great and the graphics are AMAZING, but the combination of driving dynamics and cars of Forza (Xbox) are the BEST, better even than GT3 on PS2.

But Forza doesn't work with the new Xbox360 - WTF!!!
