My F8 vs My Porsche turbo S cab

I know cause every time i flirt with the idea everyone tells me I'm out of my mind-Ferrari dealer where I buy my Fcars wants it badly as well.
And as seen with any 6speed today the demand is off the charts also.

I have a 993 as well, I will never sell the car as you know the last of the breed and the basic original 911. You would be selling a car gaining in value to a car which will certainly depreciate, makes no sense to me, the only solution would be to have both.

 

Thanks for that-I probably will not sell as I love my 488 and am sooo excited about my forthcoming F8 Spider.
But only put 100 miles on it in last 2 years-mostly garage queen and occasional Porsche event or cars and coffee.
Wipe it down and say hello to her from time to time.LOL

 

Your preaching to the choir, I totally get where you are coming from only us car nuts get this which of course it just about everyone on Fchat. As the original owner I just don't see how you could part with it ,would be like losing a child unthinkable, I know I bot mine new as well.

No mine is not a turbo ,I wish it was. I try and drive it for a couple of months out of the year. When I first bot it ,it was one of my drivers, but now it's been put into more of an occasional car to drive on fun days.

I"m new to this forum and I have a 993tt that is not mint nor a driver with 37,000 miles. I'm about to list it on BAT. I've owned it eight years and fell like trying something newer. I've always thought Ferrari builds the worlds most beautiful cars and have been spending a lot of time researching 458's and 488's. After reading this thread, I fell like I'm making a mistake...lol.

 

I am keeping my GT2 997 until I die and even after, they will have to follow me through Dante's inferno, beat me and pry the keys from my dead rigor mortis hands if they are going to sell it. Whatever you do, don't sell your 993 or 997. Those are the hot items now.

 

They are peaking high in the appreciation curve and they may continue. The next in line that is expected to appreciate, not to the same extent are the 997. I have seen so many people regretting selling their 993. My uncle had 2 Turbos a Cab and a Coupe. He is kicking himself in the @$$ for wanting to upgrade every model.

 

Agreed!!!! No new car will compare to the value of that 993.

 

Yes they are, which will drive value exponentially higher. It will become an endless bidding war.

 

Fix it at your own pace and keep it. Unless it is really banged up. It can cost a good chunk of pennys to make it valuable. In any case, if you decide to fix it do it because you really want to and not because you are looking for resale value.

 

What are you driving at PBR? My buddy Jeremy is a track member, with the black scud and the silver Mac 650s. Hangs with dirk, who drives that gorgeous senna What a crazy gorgeous car. If buddy comes out, I’ll drive my 430 over and watch you all tear it up ( and have a meet and greet)
