We have similar taste! I still have my Guards Red/Black 993TT and just bought my first Ferrari, a 458 spider, also Red/Black. I'll bet your 993TT was beautiful!

Yes, the 993 TT will always be my favorite car, although the newness of the 458 will steal the limelight for a little while. I bought it in 2005 for $77,000 and would not let it go now for anything under $200k, if at all since I love it so much. She's my number one mistress as my wife calls her...LOL.

With regards to the 458, I drove a 458 Spider last September after driving an Italia in 2015 when I bought my Audi R8 Spyder instead. No regrets on the R8, as it is very German and more predictable than the Ferrari, but I would also argue less fun factor. I am excited about this new venture. I drove an F8 Tributo on track in Vegas back in November, and it was lights out a good time. Even thought pricing was close between the higher HP 488 Spider and the 458. I just love the lines of the 456 and the thrill of the NA engine is awesome. After all, I already have two twin turbos and a supercharged car in my stable. Variety is the spice of life, right?!?

    The 993 TT was a biggie though. I hope you didn't also sell a 356 Speedster! ;-)

You read about stories where you could pick one up for $6000 back in the day. Boy would I have kicked myself if I had that chance!

    Thank you,
No one is stock: 600, 750 and 1000hp with chassis full tuned as well.
In theses conditions the 997 becomes the more visceral, sharp and amazing, even incredible on the road.
Stock for stock my favourite is the 993.

I agree with the above. I have a 997 GT2 and it is indeed all of the above and more.

Was just delivered this morning and haven’t been able to get out yet. One thing’s for sure, it makes the 991 look dated - especially the interior.

God bless. Enjoy it. I personally still prefer the 991 based on looks and I can't stand the "thumbdrive" gear selector.

I totally agree there are parts of the 992 interior that I just don't like, having said that the 992 in its entirety is a very nice design.

Just came back from a 100 km drive which essentially served to remind me that Porsche makes the best engineered sportscars in the world.
