The best broadcasting team was Bob Jenkins, Ned Jarrett and Benny Parsons. Parsons and Jenkins were southerners but it seemed like that took pride in proper annunciations. Bob Jenkins was a Hoosier which has it's own unique twang to it. Those times are long gone.

Thank g_d for the mute button.

I remember watching some of that.
At that SC gas station I asked a chap where the bathroom was and his gracious answer seemed to last half an hour: "past the third aisle over yonder...you have a good day now Sir" like the cop in you only live twice:D

When is the green flag going to drop on this circus? Is this racing or the WWF?

I thought 1:30 (central) but they're still just talking. Finally had the Anthem and the fly-bye, so should be rolling soon.

Greenville has become quite cosmopolitan…and prosperous….due to the influence of BMW, Michelin, Volvo and others.

Certainly better than I. But that doesn't mean I have to like him.

Bubba’s into film photography and heavy metal drumming, he’s whiter than most of the field :p

I usually watch the Daytona 500 all the way through but turned it off after the "big one" since the race up to that point had basically been "follow the leader" in each line of cars. It looked pretty boring.

I'd say that Keselowski was the villain for pushing Burton in the corner and thus wrecking him and a bunch of other contenders. It's bad enough to wreck anybody, but, the race leader? it's fitting that his old ride wound up winning the race.

Yep 22nd and stayed out of trouble after hitting ice early entering the pit lane. Nice job dodging a wreck he was almost accused of starting….

Not bad for the new dad.

I really don't follow nascar closely so I don't "like" any of them either. But, I also don't blatantly hate any of them either.

I love how the liking of BW is now a political thing...what our friends here don't understand is that most of us, including myself, actually liked the guy at first before he became a political primadana
